Remote Fueling
CMD designs robust, efficient compression equipment to facilitate the movement of CNG gas to locations without a gas supply. These stations are typically referred to as Mother-Daughter stations.
Mother Stations are generally standard CNG stations which dispense a large volume of compressed natural gas into mobile CNG trailers, which transport the gas to sites that do not have access to a natural gas pipeline.
At the Daughter Station, the CMD system offloads the gas directly into storage, vehicles or through the small, onsite compressors. The system can take fuel from multiple trailers, individually or at one time.
At other sites requiring gas, the CMD Pressure Reduction System uses precise pressure adjustments to offload the gas into gas distribution systems. Examples of other sites include: kilns, asphalt plants, bakeries, small power plants, industrial furnaces, etc…
