Pressure Reduction System
In situations where CNG must be transported for remote fueling (construction sites and other locations without a natural gas source) CMD offers an efficient pressure reduction system which allows for the successful offload of CNG, generally from the tube trucks used to transport the gas.
The pressure reduction system from CMD will take the high-pressure gas and lower the pressure to levels where it can directly fuel vehicles by way of an integrated dispensing hose, or or dispense the CNG into storage for future use. The system is capable of connecting to three different trailers and automatically switching from one trailer to the next as the gas in each trailer is expended. Remote monitoring is an available option.
Defueling
Defueling removes the gas from a vehicle so that it can be emptied for maintenance. The CMD defueling system includes storage to capture the gas and reuse it after vehicle is maintained – a greener solution.
